I have forgotten my password?                                                                              Ask your consultant to reset your password for you.

I can’t log on to LearnNow                                                                                  Password access is case sensitive – try using upper/lower case. In most cases, it is lower case. Ask your consultant to check the profile to ensure you have been registered completely and are login enabled and active. There may be a space that has been put in your name by error.

I can’t access the courses that were registered to me                                     Have the consultant check your profile.  Are you active in both sections & not listed as “on leave”.  Are you login enabled? Are you correctly registered – not “default employee” for example?

How do I launch the course?                                                                                  Click on the green arrow next to the name of the course you want to start.

I can log onto LearnNow, but the course won’t open when I try to launch?       I am getting a blank screen and have been waiting a while.  Nothing is happening.                                                                                                                Course content requires Java Virtual Machine to open.  This has been installed in all Jobfind Centre computers. Most internet café & library computers will also have downloaded.   If dialling from home, you might need to utilise the free download from our LearnNow homepage (just below the log on icon)

How do I find out what courses are available?                                                    Your consultant can provide you with a list of course names. There will also be an overview /summary of courses available in each centre. 

Can I make the course any shorter?                                                                           Yes, by completing the pre assessment component, you can eliminate the need to cover any areas that you are already competent in. The map will show all competencies as mastered.

How do I navigate through the course?                                                               Once you have commenced the course, you can click on forward or back for each page as required. You can repeat sections as often as you like, even if you have mastered that section. The help button, will allow you to print off all notes on navigation, and the tutorial will allow you to print all notes on the course if required.

Are the courses accredited?                                                                                         The International Computer Drivers License (ICDL/ECDL) is accredited.  On completion of all 7 modules available, your consultant will need to contact an assessment centre.  You will need to complete an assessment to receive an accredited certificate. All other courses at this stage are not accredited.  They are pre vocational modules and are designed to give you an insight to specific tasks and industries.
